Bryce on Fire
Bryce Lanigan showed there is no stopping him as he scorched around the Dardanup TT course in very hot conditions on Wednesday evening stopping the clock at 24.30 and taking another 18 seconds off his personal best.
Little wind saw most riders close to their previous best with Steve Camarri putting in a strong ride taking a few seconds off his pb and Brent Allan (despite being held up by a dog on course) also managing a one second improvement.
Mark Thomas resplendent in the new go fast club skin suit recorded a consistent 28.49 as did Jessica Lawler who stopped the clock at 29.47. Craige Pettit is another to have had a consistent season posting 28.30, a very respectable time.
Ben Hastie had a few mechanical issues and did not appear happy with his 27.08 but will no doubt quickly bounce back.
Unfortunately Garry once again suffered with cramping and had to pull out at the end of one lap.
In the 8.4km event Courtland Wood has been a big improver over the season and once again scored another personal best time in 15.07.
There was lots of sibling rivalry going on between Isabella and Josh with both displaying their race faces and putting in huge amounts of determination with Isabella once again scoring a Pb.
Brunswick’s Malcolm Passmore was keen to give time trialling a go, but missed the turn back onto Recreation drive so ended up with slightly more than an 8.4km loop. Brian came to the rescue and escorted him home and no doubt he wont make that mistake again.
Many thanks to Suzanne for timekeeping, Brian for starting riders and Robbie Commons for bringing cold drinks out. The last TT of the season is on 25/2 back on the Busselton course.
